When does the tour start?
The Medieval History Walking Tour, at 14:00 every day, starts from the western entrance of Tower Hill tube station - in front of the Citizen M Hotel and the 'Tower Hill Tram' burger van. EC3N 1JL is the postcode, and the meeting point is easily accessible via both the District and Circle lines and the DLR.
The Jack the Ripper tour, at 19:30 every day, starts outside the Whitechapel Art Gallery, at number 77 Whitechapel High Street. E1 7QX is the postcode! If you're arriving by tube, you'll want to get off at Aldgate East Station, and leave the station via exit 3.
The Changing of the Guard tour starts at 10:00 Monday-Saturday, and at 09:45 on Sundays from the Goddess Diana fountain in Green Park. W1J 9DZ is the postcode. If you're travelling by tube you will arrive via the Victoria, Jubilee or Piccadilly lines, and should take the step-free exit out of the station that leads directly into the park. You will see the fountain in front of you as you emerge!
Is the tour wheelchair friendly?
Yes! We can cater for most disabilities and take a step-free route around all of our walking tours.
Does the tour go ahead in the rain?
We operate our tours in all weathers, so you might want to bring an umbrella if it's raining! If you wish to avoid the rain though, please let us know and we can re-arrange your tour for a different day.
Where does the tour end?
The Medieval History Walking Tour ends at St. Paul's Cathedral, only moments away from both St Paul's and Mansion House tube stations. There are also numerous bus stops in the immediate vicinity, and it's an easy place to flag down a cab!
The Jack the Ripper tour will end by Aldgate East tube station. Aldgate East station is on the District and Hammersmith and City lines, but Aldgate, Tower Hill, Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street stations are all also only a short walk away.
The Changing of the Guard tour will finish in Trafalgar Square, by Charing Cross train station. Embankment station, however, is also nearby, along with numerous bus routes, and you'll be only a few minutes' walk from Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and London's West End!
What should I wear?
Please dress accordingly for the weather, and wear your comfiest shoes!
What if I'm running late?
If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible by calling +447715481056 so that we can alert your guide. Please be aware though, that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late we may not be able to locate the group and you might have to rearrange your tour for another day.
